Justice, Respect and Equality "International Women's Day"



Valle de Santiago .- As part of the commemoration of International Women's Day in this town, the president of the municipal DIF Georgina Arredondo Miranda, spoke to continue fighting for women to find justice, respect and equality in a society other complicated as we live in today.

The commemoration of this day began with a march started Home Garden and culminated in the Alameda of this city, municipal DIF personnel participating in various government units and dozens of women in civil society.

The contingent marched on Juarez Street, down to the mall and where women carried banners alluding to their rights, recalling the struggle through the years has made for better wages, right to voting and the end of child labor.

Already in the event, Miranda de Arredondo, emphasized the importance of women are respected, demand their rights but also to meet its obligations and this on the same terms of equality be achieved with this example and respect women.

"They call us the weaker sex in society, but I think we showed we can achieve what we set out, as there are many women who have achieved important positions, great achievements in their lives, successful careers and above all respect and equality to society, "stated Miranda Arroyo.
