You know that this novel grew out of an evening meeting held in the summer of 1816 in a house in Geneva (Switzerland). At that meeting were present Lord Byron, John W. Polidori, Percey B. Shelley and Mary herself. Forced by bad weather and severe storms to remain locked in the house, decided to spend hours telling scary stories. That night was born one of the universally known literary characters: Frankenstein .
The young scientist, Victor Frankenstein seeks at all costs to discover the secrets of nature and know the beginning of life. With this intention is proposed to create a human being. The various members of bodies that robs graves and cemeteries, and applying the vital spark electric current, are used to form a human body. Manages to breathe life into a monstrous creature. Knows his deformity, the monster (which the readers have finished a call with the name of its creator, as Mary Shelley did not name) is harmful to young cinetÃfico. Seeing how different it is from humans, and then take revenge by killing his friend, the brother and the wife of Victor Frankenstein, takes refuge away from the human eye in the uninhabited lands of the Arctic. There he seeks to kill its creator, but the monster that slays him. Eventually disappears, and the book ends without revealing his whereabouts final.
